After  all the rain and cold of the last few months, spring looks promising for outdoor activities. March is a great month to see the gray whales pass through San Diego’s  coast on their way to their breeding grounds in Baja California.  Check out San  Diego’s Natural History Museum and Hornblower cruises  which offer a 3 ½  hour outing with Museum trained naturalists providing  interpretation on board.
